Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers rooms facing the lake, perfect for families with kids. The friendly service makes up for a slightly dated feel. The location, though scenic, lacks nearby amenities.
The hotel is situated in a superb location right on the lake with stunning views of Mount Fuji in the distance. The rooms, although a bit worn out, are cool even with the heater on and offer comfortable seating. The service is exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The dining is delicious, especially for Japanese standards, leaving a lasting impression. However, the evening dinner options are limited. The facilities are well-equipped for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was superb with stunning views of Mt. Fuji across Lake Ashi from my room, but the dated room with a lake view was disappointing as it was hot and stuffy, and not as clean as expected. The service was friendly and helpful overall, except for one unfriendly barman during happy hour. The dining experience was delightful, but I was a bit let down by being downgraded to an American breakfast due to low occupancy.
The hotel had a stunning unobstructed view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from the larger rooms, which were clean but dated and hot despite the December weather. While the service was generally helpful and polite, one staff member during happy hour was unfriendly. The location, right on the shore of Lake Asahi with a direct view of Mt. Fuji, was excellent but lacked dining options after 5 pm. The dining experience was good with a decent selection of dishes.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! My lake view room was spacious and well-appointed, offering a breathtaking view of Lake Ashi through floor-to-ceiling windows. Although there were some minor issues like dust on the ceiling and worn curtains, which I guess could be expensive to fix.
